In February 2026, The Salvation Army in Uganda is honoured to welcome General Lyndon Buckingham, our international spiritual and administrative leader, for a visit that celebrates worship, strengthens mission, and encourages service across our corps and communities.
This visit aligns with Compass, the General’s global strategic framework that calls the Army to Empower People, Enhance Mission Impact, and Establish an Enduring Legacy, and with his Global Call to Action, inviting renewed spiritual vitality for mission. As we host the General, we will highlight how Uganda is advancing these priorities through practical compassion, accountability, and inclusive community outreach.
We invite Salvationists, friends, partners, and the media to join united worship, share testimonies of transformation, and engage in program showcases that demonstrate how faith, generosity, and service restore dignity and build resilience, true to our mission to meet human needs in Christ’s name without discrimination.
How to take part
